SC flags highway safety lapses as NHAI finds 110 illegal access points on DME-NH9

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has identified 110 unauthorised access points along a 20-km stretch of the Delhi-Meerut Expressway–NH9 following directions from the Supreme Court of India, which took suo motu cognisance of fatal highway accidents and flagged systemic safety failures.
