Following the mammoth success of Lorde’s debut ‘Royals’, Ella Yelich-O’Connor reunited with director Joel Kefali for follow-up single ‘Tennis Court.’ Shot all in one take, Lorde stares down the barrel of the camera and lip-synchs to only one word; “Yeah” — which features only once in each chorus. The lyrics speak to her newfound fame, and she shows her teenage confidence in the intensity of her performance. The track debuted at number one on the New Zealand Singles Chart and certified triple platinum on both sides otof the Tasman. Kefali went into to American success, including directing a music video for Katy Perry.
